Species Specific: LIONS
Omega
*Allure (Males)
The male lion is probably one of the strongest, more admired specimens in the animal kingdom. But even an omega still needs help, this allows for them to in a sense manipulate their appearance, even their scent can become more enticing. In a way this gives the lion almost the appearance of an alpha if only in looks. But the ability doesn't change even as they get stronger infact it continues to become more intense.
*Heart of the Pride (Females)
This gives each female confidence in not only their pride, but themselves. They will get a sense of pride coming from others within the pride giving them more confidence. It in a way strengthens the loyalty the lioness feels for their pride allowing them to open up, feel more complete with everyone.
*Instinctual Tracking
This allows the lion to rely on their natural instincts and helps them to focus solely on them to track their target. Whether it be another pride member, prey, enemy, it doesn’t matter. Just so long as the lions have their mind and senses open they will understand and feel from their instincts what is the best course of action to take. With more use and as the lion gets older this will improve and grow right along with the lion.
*Sight to Sight
Lions naturally have eyesight 5 times better than a human and lycanthropes are no exception with their already enhanced senses. However, those with this power will have an even better sight work on an upwards of 10 times that of a normal lion. It allows for better accuracy on hunting prey, spotting an enemy before they are seen and even possible for locating their Pride should they be separated for any reason.
Beta
*Roar to Aide
In the case of a member of the pride being severally injured no matter if a fight or natural, this ability allows for them to easily no matter how weak call for aid from their pride. The call would be as strong as if uninjured, but the tones are what tells the members of the trouble.
*Lazy as a Cat
Cats are naturally lazy creatures and the lion is no exception, so they have the ability to infect the sin of sloth on others. Making it so the person who possible is really active suddenly just wish to lay down or sleep instead of getting out even exercising.
*Touch of Warmth
Lions relish the sun, so with this power the lion will gain a boost of speed and strength that they can use. It will last about a full day depending on the length of time they were in the sun, the longer their body was out the longer the effect will last. The shortest length period is about 2 hours which is still enough time to make a nice kill.
*Harmony
Lions are very affectionate cats especially within the Pride, so with this power it instills a sense of calm should emotions suddenly flare. It won’t completely block out the emotions, but instead just brings back a sense of rational thought. Making it so that a serious fight will be avoided and instead the ones involved will merely talk it out civilly.
Alpha
*Barbary Handshake
Lions have extremely sharp claws when in their beast form, this allows for the same to be said of their human. Should the lion scratch another the nails would slice through the skin like paper, leaving nearly the same damage as if in their beast.
*Eyes of Fear
Lions are natural hunters, ambush predators so this power allows for them to insight fear and panic in those they are watching. The target doesn’t have to see the lion to feel that fear it will just appear out of no were and send them into a state of panic. Usually this will result in the target heading right towards an ambush that is awaiting them.
*Killing Strike
During a hunt, lions often use the ambush method in order to secure their prey. With this power after the target is selected and heads for those in waiting, it will take but a single strike of the paw to kill the animal. Instead of having to race after, tackle and weaken the animal this method is quick and fast. It insures that should they need the Pride could hunt much larger prey should they be in the area. Of course this could also extend to a fight, one shot to the face or chest could instantly kill the opponent before he/she could lay a single blow.
*Age of Wisdom
With lions, the darker the mane the older the lion, however, with this power an alpha has the ability to manipulate their mane in order to make it appear that they are older. It gives whoever they are facing a false sense of success, since most feel the older you are the slower and less able to fight.
Leader
*Roar of Call
A lions roar is one that all recognize immediately and normally it reaches only a distance of 5 miles, which is still impressive. But with this power a Rex can now reach out and call to lions or even their allies over 15 miles away.
*Metaphysical Control
As leader the Rex is responsible for making sure everyone in his pride follows commands and the rules. However, should some decide otherwise, this power allows for a more one on one punishment to be handed out. With a mere look to the one needing the punishment his beast from its metaphysical plane will take hold and force the others lion into a submissive position. But even as this is only on the metaphysical plane, it will still be extremely painful to the human side and thus force them as well into a more submissive posture to the Rex. The length of time varies according to each leader, but it can last up to about 2 hours before the Rex and even the accused could start to feel exhaustion setting in.
